Quakerwoods Campground

The Quakerwoods Campground features a total of 170 spaces with electric and water hookups. Both campers and tents are allowed. Campers have the option of renting one of five cottage and cabin rentals. The park houses some of the most advanced features of any campground in the area. There are a total of 85 sites with WiFi connectivity, as well as classic camping activities, like fishing and horseshoes.

Evergreen Lake

Located in Bethlehem, Evergreen Lake is a fully-fledged campground with more than 250 spaces and a WiFi hotspot. Visitors are welcome to boat, fish, hike on nature trails, and more. The campground also features modern amenities, like an ATM machine, cable, and a snack bar.

Little Red Barn Campground

A small campground in Quakertown, the Little Red Barn Campground features just under 100 spaces. Most pets are welcome, WiFi connectivity is available, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities to take part in.

  • Rausch Creek Off-Road Park – Enthusiasts interested in riding the trails across more than 3,000 acres should pay a visit to Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in Pine Grove. Located about an hour away from Allentown, the off-road park boasts easy, intermediate, and difficult trails packed with obstacles like rocks, hills, and bowls. On-site camping is free, but there’s a two-vehicle minimum in the name of safety. The park also only allows trucks and SUVs, making the Toyota Tacoma perfect for a weekend adventure!
  • Lake Nockamixon Area Trail – Located just outside of Allentown, Nockamixon State Park stretches a massive 5,286 acres and includes a 1,450-acre lake. The park is also home to the Lake Nockamixon Area Trail. The five-mile loop holds a moderate rating and is best for drivers who have been off-roading before. The trail sees some traffic and is open to all off-roading vehicles, including full-size trucks like the Toyota Tundra.
