Updates & Info on a Few 2018 Toyota Models

The Toyota lineup for 2018 features tons of refreshes, new tech, and even new trim levels for drivers who love adventure. Here are just a couple 2018 Toyota models with exciting updates you’ll love.

2018 Toyota RAV4

The new RAV4 is a carryover from the 2016 model, which saw a substantial refresh and still looks as modern and stylish as any brand-new 2018 release. However, there are definitely reasons to check out the latest version.

The most exciting thing about the 2018 RAV4 is the addition of the Adventure trim, which offers dynamic torque control with AWD, a standard tow prep package with upgraded engine oil and transmission fluid coolers, special undercarriage guards, and much more. This makes the RAV4 Adventure the perfect SUV for family trips!

2018 Toyota Camry

The refreshed 2018 Camry features not just a great new look, but exciting technology that will eventually spread across the whole Toyota lineup. With a lower wheelbase and better aerodynamics, plus a wider stance and lower hood and roofline, the Camry offers not just better efficiency and visibility, but more sporty, exciting looks than ever.

Then there’s the tech. Dynamic Force is a new piece of tech that reduces engine emissions and improves efficiency by revising the intake system and other aspects of the engine. The new Camry is also the first to feature the next-gen Entune™ 3.0 infotainment system, so if you’re looking for a car with state-of-the-art features, this is the one for you.

There are plenty more exciting things coming out of Toyota for the 2018 model year, so for more information, or to test drive one of these great new cars, give us a call at Krause Toyota today.

Safe Adventures in Your 2017 Toyota RAV4

The 2017 Toyota RAV4 features standard Toyota Safety SenseP, a suite of active safety technologies designed to make the road a safer place. That means heading out on an adventure is now safer than ever before! Here are some fun family adventures to take in the safe 2017 Toyota RAV4, recommended by us here at Krause Toyota.

Camping

The 2017 Toyota RAV4 offers a spacious interior that’s perfect for packing away camping equipment. Heading out to your local campsite is a breeze at any time of the day thanks to the Automatic High beams. The active safety feature detects oncoming vehicles up to 2,000 feet away and switches the high beams on and off automatically.

Now you don’t have to worry about running into other drivers on backroads as you head to or from the campsite.

Road Trip

Long road trips can be a drag and cause fatigue. The RAV4’s Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist aids drivers in fighting fatigue by warning them when the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane. If the driver doesn’t respond, then the system corrects the vehicle’s course. Take the family on a road trip somewhere scenic, like the Appalachian Trail, this summer.

Kayaking

Trying something new is what summer is all about, and kayaking tends to land high on the list. It may be a long drive, but the RAV4’s Dynamic Radar Cruise Control maintains a set speed and safe distance between vehicles. That means there’s plenty of time for some road trip games as you head over to the river.

2018 Toyota Camry Upgrades

The Toyota Camry has long stood as the industry’s best-selling mid-size sedan. With more than a decade at the top spot under its belt, the popular model is due for a redesign, and that’s exactly what it’s getting. The 2017 model looked good, but the 2018 Toyota Camry exceeds expectations. Now entering the 8th generation, the successful model receives a variety of updates.

The 2018 Camry rolls out on the Toyota New Global Architecture platform and the result is glorious. The new model brings an adventurous style with an eye-catching design that’s sure to inspire drivers of all ages.

As far as measurements, the 2018 Toyota Camry is less than an inch wider and longer than the outgoing model. While crossovers are selling like hotcakes due to a higher ride height, the new Camry heads in the other direction, as the hood drops by more than one and a half inches, although a redesigned interior offers a more open cabin with a sporty feel.

The new Camry features three powertrain options: a 3.5-liter V6, a 2.5-liter four cylinder, and a hybrid version of the 2.5-liter four-cylinder. As for technology, drivers can expect a new and improved infotainment system which offers a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with connectivity for up to five devices.

We here at Krause Toyota can’t wait for the arrival of the 2018 Toyota Camry!
